Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70803. Under the guidance of Rick Shaw, our research group dealt with marine zooplankton and fish larvae (ichthyoplankton). Research projects included larval recruitment to hard substrate habitat (namely jetties and oil and gas platforms), the relationship of biological and physical variables along the LA/TX coasts (LATEX B Physical Oceanography Project), the effects of atmospheric cold front passages on transport and recruitment of offshore-spawned plankton, the LOOP environmental impact study, and the taxonomy of larval fishes.
